
Rank-and-file employee and Casual Plantilla employee of the Iloilo Provincial Government, not otherwise disqualified by law and without regard to sex, race, nationality, religion, disability, political belief or affiliation, is eligible for membership in the Association.
Membership Requirements
Qualified employees may become members of the Association by written application approved by the President upon recommendation of the Committee on Membership and after payment in full of the required membership fee.
Membership Fee
A membership fee of One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) shall be paid by an applicant to the treasurer of the association before he/she officially becomes a member of the Association.
Monthly Dues – A regular monthly due shall be paid by all members to the association through payroll deduction of which 40% will be returned to the member on retirement or separation from service.
Disqualification
Membership shall be denied to the following individuals or groups of individuals:
- Subversive or persons who possess subversive ideas.
- Persons who have been convicted by final judgement of a crime involving moral turpitude.
- Other grounds for disqualification provided for in the AIPGE Code of Conduct.
Forfeiture
- Commission of any of the grounds for disqualification shall result to the forfeiture of membership. No employee who forfeited his/her membership shall be admitted back to the Association within a period of two (2) years from date of effectivity of forfeiture of his/her membership.
- Employee re-applying for membership shall pay the Returning Membership Fee in the amount of Two Hundred Pesos (P200.00).
Period of Application
- Newly appointed employees may apply for membership in the Association
- Employee appointed for more than six (6) months prior his/her submission of application to the Association may be admitted in membership provided that he/she pays similar to that of the active member’s total accumulated contribution from the month of January of the year of his/her application until the date of the approval of his/her application.
- No employee appointed for one (1) year shall be qualified to be admitted in the Association after the 30th day of September of each year. Acceptance of membership shall resume on January 1 of the succeeding year.
- Nonetheless, employees newly appointed in IPG after the 30th day of September may submit his/her application and become members of the Association on the date of approval of his/her application.

Members In Good Standing (MIGS)
- No arrears in monthly dues for two (2) months
- No backlog payments on funeral assistance for the preceding two (2) months
- Attendance to the General Assembly
Sanctions for Non-MIGS
- Non-MIGS cannot avail of AIPGE welfare and benefits except CNI
- If separating from service, all arrears will be deducted from retirement claim
- All backlog / arrears payment will be deducted upon granting of the Collective Negotiation Incentive (CNI)
