The calamity assistance is funded by the Member’s Welfare Fund and replenished as needed. Guidelines of the calamity assistance is prepared after investigating extent of calamity and how it has affected employees of the IPG. Amount is dependent on availability of funds at the period of calamity.

GUIDELINE FOR THE RELEASE OF CALAMITY ASSISTANCE TO ASSOCIATION OF ILOILO PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES (AIPGE) AFFECTED BY TYPHOON TINO (KALMAEGI)
I. Rationale:
Natural and man-made calamities such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, fires, and similar disasters can cause severe disruption to the lives and livelihood of government employees. These unfortunate events often result in damage to homes, loss of property, and unforeseen financial burdens that affect the welfare and productivity of affected personnel.
Recognizing this, the Association of Iloilo Provincial Government Employees (AIPGE) seeks to extend financial assistance to its members who have been directly affected by Typhoon Tino (KALMAEGI) which adversely hit the Visayas area on November 4, 2025. The provision of calamity assistance is in line with the Association’s commitment to promote the general welfare of its members and to foster solidarity and mutual support among employees of the Provincial Government of Iloilo.
II. COVERAGE:
This covers following personnel of Iloilo Provincial Government are qualified to receive the relief assistance:
2.1. Rank-and-file employees who are members of Association of Iloilo Provincial Government Employees (AIPGE) in Good Standing (MIGS);
III. AMOUNT TO BE RECEIVED
3.1. The amount to be received by those affected members shall be determined by the AIPGE Board of Directors which shall be taken from its Calamity Fund
IV. CONDITIONS
4.1 It shall be based on actual residence where a member resides affected by Typhoon Tino
4.2 The classification of either total or partial shall be based on the certification issued by the Punong Barangay as validated by the AIPGE Welfare Committee
4.3 An AIPGE Member for at least six (6) months prior to November 4, 2025.
V. DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
5.1 Signed Application Form
5.2 Certificate from Punong Barangay where the affected property is located (original)
5.3 Photograph of damaged property
5.4 In case of authorized representative, duly signed authorization letter – (original)
5.5 ID of Member and Representative
All documentary requirements shall be submitted to AIPGE Office , 3rd Floor Provincial Capitol, Bonifacio Drive, Iloilo City on or before 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon of November 21, 2025.
VI. SCHEDULE OF DISTRIBUTION
6.1 The distribution shall be done and scheduled upon determination of AIPGE BOD of the amount to be received by qualified members
